Chasing 222 to win, Rahul found form after the Koffee with Karan controversy.KL Rahul was suspended along with Hardik Pandya after their controversial statements on chat show Koffee with Karan. The pair was asked to return home before the ODI series began earlier in January. However, the Indian board later decided to lift the suspensions pending the appointment of an ombudsman.While Pandya flew out to New Zealand picked 2 for 45 in India’s series-clinching victory on Monday, KL Rahul stayed back to play for India A. He, however, managed only 13 in his first game after returning from suspension.KL Rahul was part of the Indian squad for the Test series in Australia. But he was dropped after the first two matches following scores of 2, 44, 2 and 0. He returned for the New Year’s Test in Sydnet but got out for 9 in the only innings India batted.Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant, sent back home to hone his finishing skills, gave a fine exhibition of his talent. Pant was the second highest scorer in the Test series in Austraia after Cheteshwar Pujara but he was not named in the ODI squad for the series against the Aussies and New Zealand.Ravi Shastri said the team wanted Pant to polish his finishing skills and insisted he was in reckoning for a World Cup berth.Against England Lions, Pant walked in to bat at No.5 and added crucial runs for Deepak Hooda for the fifth wicket. Dunne hits 5 3s as Hartford holds off Bowling Green 7663

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — Jason Dunne nailed five from long range to total 19 points and John Carroll added 18 as Hartford held off Bowling Green 76-63 on Saturday afternoon.J.R. Lynch added 16 points, making 12 of 12 from the line, with three steals and three assists for Hartford (3-6).The Hawks soared to a 32-23 halftime advantage before Bowling Green rallied. Dylan Frye got the Falcons rolling, hitting two straight from beyond the arc to start a 14-0 run for a 41-40 lead at the 10:59 mark. Hartford retook the lead 44-43 after Carroll drove for a layup with 9:27 left. He followed with another layup and Dunne added a trey as the Hawks pushed their advantage to 61-51 with 3:22 remaining.Hartford was 9 of 31 from distance while the Falcons hit 7 of 32.
