ESPN sideline reporter Laura Rutledge had a rather scary moment at Saturday’s Georgia-UMass game in Athens. She was accidentally leveled while delivering an in-game report.Rutledge was talking on camera while a play was going on. In the background, Georgia running back and special teamer Prather Hudson was engaged with a defender and they wound up hurtling out of bounds. In the process, they took Rutledge down. However, this attempt from Hudson barely even got out of his hand.It did provide a pretty funny exchange though.

Here’s what he had to say via David Paschall of the Chattanooga Times.“I really do think that Clemson is a great program, but there will never be another Alabama. I feel like we’re in our own realm…Georgia is definitely the hardest team I’ve played in college.”More from Alabama LB Dylan Moses: “Georgia is definitely the hardest team I’ve played in college.” #SECMD19— David Paschall (@DavidSPaschall) July 17, 2019It’s an interesting series of comments from Moses, especially considering the result of Alabama’s games against Georgia and Clemson.Alabama defeated Georgia in the SEC Title Game by a final score of 35-28. Two games later, Clemson smoked the Tide in the national title, winning 44-16.To say an undefeated Clemson team that won the national title by nearly 30 points isn’t as good as Georgia is definitely a hot take. Head coach Nick Saban was the biggest draw of the day, but it was one of his players that stole the show.Star linebacker Dylan Moses made a few controversial comments about the previous season and Clemson’s football program.According to Moses, Georgia is the “hardest” team Alabama played last season, not Clemson. He also thinks the Tigers aren’t on Alabama’s level as an entire program.

Just hours earlier, Diaz announced that Williams, a redshirt freshman, had beaten out Martell and sophomore N’Kosi Perry and would start the season opener against Florida on August 24.“All three guys showed tremendous improvement and development, which is a credit to their hard work and the work of Dan Enos and his offensive staff,” Diaz said. “We believe we can win with all three guys, however, we feel like Jarren has the greatest upside due to his passing ability, his instincts and his determination.”Diaz added that he would continue to evaluate who would be the team’s No. 2 quarterback behind Williams. Nothing is official yet though, so no one is sure what his next move will be.Stay tuned.

Ajay Tiwari SouthamptonJune 5, 2019UPDATED: June 6, 2019 01:55 IST Rohit Sharma celebrates India’s win with Hardik Pandya (Reuters)HIGHLIGHTSRohit Sharma hit 122* to help India beat South Africa by 6 wicketsIt was the 23rd ODI hundred of Sharma’s careerThe opener played with caution initially, only to accelerate later in his inningsIndian opener Rohit Sharma hit an unbeaten 122 runs to help India win their first match of the World Cup 2019 against South Africa in Southampton on June 5. After being set 228 runs for a victory, Rohit played a gem of an innings depite being troubled initially by the Proteas pacers. Adjudged the Man of the MActch for his match-defining innings, Rohit explained why he approached the innings with caution.”Different experience from India. There was something in it for the bowlers through the game, so you had to play out the overs initially and see what the ball was doing. Couldn’t play my natural game. You have to take your time. Certain shots that I like playing, I had to cut out and play close to the body, and follow the basics properly – try and leave as many balls as possible on a pitch that is doing a bit,” said Rohit after the win.Rohit found able support from Virat Kohli (18), KL Rahul (26) and MS Dhoni (34) as they stitched crucial partnerships whenever wickets fell, to romp home with a victory by 6 wickets.”Building partnerships was key in this chase. It was a small total, but since there was something in it for the bowlers, it was tough and we needed partnerships. It’s the batsmen’s job to get the job done, whoever is out in the middle. We can’t rely on one or two individuals all the time. That’s been the hallmark of this team over the last two years – someone always puts their hand up and takes the responsibility to take the team across the line. I hope at some stage someone will put their hand up and take that challenge,” explained Rohit.advertisementWhen presenter and former India cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar asked Rohit how he could look so fresh after spending close to 100 overs in the field, the batsman credited it to the weather in England.”That’s the beauty of playing in England – we are playing a little early. We play in July/August, but this is June. The weather has been good, and overcast, so you don’t sweat too much like in India. It wasn’t a typical Rohit Sharma innings, but I had to play out the overs initially to make sure that the job is done,” concluded Rohit.India will next clash against Australia on June 9 at The Oval. Also Read | World Cup 2019: Rohit Sharma, Yuzvendra Chahal power India to opening win over South AfricaAlso Read | World Cup 2019: Rohit Sharma goes past Sourav Ganguly with 23rd ODI hundredFor sports news, updates, live scores and cricket fixtures, log on to indiatoday.in/sports.
